There are a number of uses for Lord mounts in the HVAC industry. Lord mounts make buildings quieter by isolating vibration transmitted through floors, beams and ducts from compressors, blowers, motors, chillers, and heat exchangers. Lord mounts provide extended equipment life because shock is attenuated during start up and shut down, eliminating damaging equipment shake.
