Lord mounts are an important addition for machinery applications as they reduce vibration that can cause chatter, poor finishes, excessive rejects and inability to hold proper tolerances. Down time and maintenance costs can surge. Lord mounts can inexpensively solve all of these problems.
By isolating vibration and reducing noise, Lord mounts help all areas of your plant be more productive. They do so by quieting machinery, improving machine longevity, reducing maintenance expense and eliminate unwanted noise. Lord mounts prevent noise transmission through floors and walls to any nearby office area.
To keep factory machines in place, they once lagged machines to the concrete floors with bolts. The bolts often tore loose due to severe shock forces. Today, machines are floated on Lord rubber leveling mounts. With this setup, machines now have sufficient "give" or flexibility to move slightly with each stroke, dissipating the energy of motion. Machines last longer and may easily be moved from one location to another
